Kayla Pearson
LMA (Licensed Master Aesthetician) & LC (Licensed Cosmetologist)
Inclusive Health Ambassador
Born and raised in California, Kayla Pearson has resided in South Carolina for the past seven years. She relocated to Greenville, SC over two years ago. Kayla has 13 years in the health and beauty industry. She started her career as a cosmetologist and has continued to educate herself with an emphasis on clinical skin care, health, and overall wellness. She attended Bellus Academy in San Diego, CA where she received her Master Aesthetician certifications and licensure. She continued on to become an Inclusive Health Ambassador through Dr. Murad. She has attended Advanced Aesthetic course at Southeastern Esthetic Institute and attended Institut’ DERMed in Atlanta. She has been practicing cosmetic aesthetics for nine years in a medical setting and strives to keep herself at the front of this cutting edge industry. While her passion for clinical skin health has grown, so has her interest in overall health and wellness.

Kayla has taken it upon herself to be educated in nutrition, fitness, and total body health. Kayla’s other certifications include dermaplane, medi-clinical skin rejuvenation, micro-needling, laser resurfacing, and manual lymphatic drainage. She has had extensive training in medical grade chemical peels, laser hair removal, laser skin resurfacing, laser skin rejuvenation, advanced light therapy, and medical classification of skin conditions, as well as attending CoolSculpting University. In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her daughter and son, as well as camping and boating with her family.

Carter Andrews
PA-C
Carter Andrews was born and raised in Greenville, SC. After graduating from Clemson University, she earned her Masters in Physician Assistant studies from the Medical University of South Carolina. Over the past several years she has lived and worked in Washington State, Maryland, and Georgia while her husband served as a dentist in the US Army. She loves spending time with her husband and 2 children, Matt and Ruthie. They are so excited to be back home in Greenville!
Kristen Burdette
FNP
Kristen Burdette is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in medical aesthetics for several years and has a passion for injectable treatments (such as neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and kybella), a variety of laser treatments, and microneedling. She continues to stay up to date on the most advanced techniques to help her patients achieve healthy, beautiful skin. She focuses on enhancing natural beauty while implementing preventative treatments.
Kristen graduated from Clemson University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit before and during her Nurse Practitioner program. She graduated from Clemson University in 2019 with a Masters of Science Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She married her husband, Jacob, in 2014 and they have three children: Harper Grace, Brooks, and Emerie. She loves spending time with family and friends.

Our Community
The Greenville Free Medical Clinic is an integral part – the safety net – of the health care delivery system in the Greenville community. For 26 years, the Clinic has provided health care and wellness services at no charge to people who cannot pay for care and to those who do not have insurance available to them. The Clinic helps keep the uninsured healthy! Several of our providers volunteer their time here.
Around the World
We love serving our patients, but we recognize that people in other parts of the world are often in greater need for medical care. Our providers travel internationally to serve those most desperate for their expertise.
